Anthropology in the Writing Center
My final paper written for ENG 395.
This presentation combines prior anthropological studies to the Writing Center tutors and directors to encourage a defamiliarized perspective to better suit clients. With a more diverse student body using and staffing the Writing Center, exploring sources from varied backgrounds is crucial to connecting with others and widening perspectives (Reagan 2019). By encouraging cross-cultural analysis, greater insight can be given to our own work and own problems (Bohannan 1966, Yalley 2022). Attendees can expect a wider understanding of literature and how it can be interpreted more dynamically.

04
Illuminating Women
Research paper done for my Ancient/Medieval art history class freshman year. For my final paper I decided to cover two of my favorite topics: medieval women and manuscript art!
05
Book Review
My book review on Linguistic Legitimacy and Social Justice by Timothy Reagan. I used this book review as a jumping off point for my later research, which is why some of the language gets repeated. Although I didn't reference this book specifically in my paper, it was crucial to shaping my ideas for the presentation and early drafts alike.

Medieval Life Assignment
My final paper for HTY 202: Medieval Civilization. We were tasked with putting ourselves into the mindset of an 1100s English monk living at Fountains Abbey. I had a lot of fun playing around with names, places, and transformative details to really set the scene. Enjoy!
